The Clubhouse

A briskly
paced half-hour television show all about golf, Clubhouse
TV, is executive produced and hosted by the inimitable
James Brown. No. Not that James Brown--although this
one’s vibrant personality could easily rival the
other’s.
Featuring professional golfers offering insider tips, the
series also includes celebrities trying their hand at a
game once reserved for only the elite. As a consummate
host, Brown bubbles with enthusiasm no matter how badly his
guests play golf. And, his knack for perfect comebacks is
evident in the way he deflects his visitors’ teasing
of his own extremely challenged game.
HDMC-1 produced 13 new episodes in 2007, and another 26 are
scheduled for season 3 in 2008!
